As many readers in the forums have noted, the Sanyo MM-9000 and Samsung MM-A940 do not have Modem NAI enabled by default. This means that you can continue to tether on these phones without bypassing any Sprint-installed barriers, however, Sprint can chose in the future to enable (and force) Modem NAI via firmware update on these devices, as with all Power Vision devices.
